Members of the Southern Tier Home Builders & Remodelers Association recently attended the Summer Board Meeting of the New York State Builders Association and the NYSBA Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the Otesaga Resort in Cooperstown, NY. They are: Ed Banks of Fenton Development, Bill Brunner of Endicott Lumber & Box and Mike McGowan of McGowan Corporation.Mr. McGowan was inducted into the Hall of Fame. This event was truly historic since Ed McGowan, father of Mike, was inducted years ago. This marks the first ever father-son in the NYSBA Hall of Fame. In addition to the business of the New York State Builders Association, the meetings also covered the Legal Defense Fund and Political Action Committee. Meetings are aimed to keep Builders up-to-date on governmental affairs, building codes, consumer, legal and technical issues in New York in order to better serve their customers and communities.
