"Living the GREEN Life"
The Southern Tier Home Builders & Remodelers Association presents Home Show 2009. The show is scheduled for Friday, March 20th through Sunday March 22nd at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton. This year, the theme is “Living the GREEN Life” to jump on board with the green wave that is sweeping the country. Each admission ticket enters you into the daily drawing for door prizes totaling thousands of dollars. You need not be present to win. More than 150 local businesses are on hand to help plan projects and get you started on that home improvement idea bouncing around your head. The Home Show always has the latest trends in the building and remodeling industry. Whether you are working on the inside of your house or outside in the yard, the Home Show has something for you. The Home Show is an event the whole family can attend. On Saturday and Sunday, from 1PM to 4PM, we have a Kids Area for photo opportunities with Sponge Bob Square Pants, Max from the Senators and Buddy from the Mets. We will also have the Zoo Mobile & Animal Ambassadors, as well as FREE Children’s Fingerprinting (Operation Safe Child). Admission is FREE for 18 & under. Additionally, we will have Seminars throughout Saturday and Sunday on Level 1. On Saturday, the Home Show runs from 10 am to 8 pm. Sunday’s hours are 10 am until 4 pm. Admission is six dollars for those 19 and older. Bring a non perishable canned donation for C.H.O.W. and receive one dollar off admission. 18 & under get in free when accompanied by an adult.
